Still Trying

I try, try, and try though I’ve failed too much

Try to take it slow, there’s no need to rush

Rest and relax, you earned every bit

You can sleep when you’re dead, you just cannot quit

Yet every time I hit submit

I fall short of the summit

            When will I win?

Maybe never, but I won’t give in

            The time feels near

            My victory is here.
