Monster,

I feel you,

All the time.

Knocking-

from the inside

Blocking-

my senses

Muddling-

my thoughts.

Too often

I wish

To be more like you,

Who never had to hide.

Monster,

Rare companion,

Sick love.

At your firm insistence,

I changed.

How is that possible?

I am strong

But you’re stronger.

I burn,

You burn hotter.

I-

Don’t matter.

I thought

You belonged to me.

I felt.

In control

Of my only-

Consistency.

My monster...

Won’t you consume me?

Truly yours,

Lost
