Stolen

You came to me and decided I was yours

I had no will or say, no if, and, buts, or ors

You stole from me that precious thing

Which allowed me to sleep peacefully

My innocence was a game to you

I had no idea what I was doing

But you knew and you decided I didn't need it anymore

I was 7 but I was already seeing a shrink

Those problems that come later in life were not strange to me

I kept seeing it, over and over and over again

Twisting it, changing it, making it more

And your actions have shaped my life

That rape of my mind has taken over me

I have no choice now, I am a slave to it

That one choice you made all those years ago,

That one thing you decided was no big deal, a little bit of fun

Destroyed my laughter, my smile, my joy in life

And I live it every night.
