Stolen Rose

Stolen.

Stolen from me is the rose.

The rose, the beautiful crystal white rose.

My rose.

Spark of my existence.

Bringer of all happiness and light.

A smile to my face,

A flicker of heaven.

Elegant curves white as frost,

Graceful, gleaming in the moon's glow.

My heart always in my throat,

Always lighter than air.

But then,

But then it’s a crimson red.

One bullet, one shot, one moment.

Then red, a blood red.

My dazzling white rose… gone.

First white, then red, then gone.

Stolen from me,

Now gone.

Why?

Why my rose?

So pure, so innocent, so perfect.

One shoot and my rose stolen from me,

Gone forever,

Stolen from me.
