Stolen Sayings
Broken bones are swept away...
And empty hearts are a forest of lonely.
Busted memories sleep in my wounded arms.
Never before have I seen monsters so greedy...
Abuse the flesh of my palms with such kind words.
Nightmares sing and butterflies morph into ugly insects.
Those beautiful remarks lay in my closet,
Where the monsters with sayings wait for me to bleed,
To bleed of sharp emotions and fractured sentences,
Where everything I say means nothing at all!
And the meaning behind what I ramble is confused by the furry critters still sitting in the little room by my bed!
I was never told that this would be easy,
But to be this complicated?
I may as well let the creatures have my words and my voice.
