like a stone

'so intense the powerful heat of the Sun'

bearing down to burn so many fair skins with cancer

Jack traveled in his $8000 Ford Exploreer in pursuit of care

He is old, this Jack

His skin erupting calloused

like a stone growing moss

and yet

he still shows the world his laughter.
