"Stone"

Medusa She turns you to stone Your heart no longer moving She must feel safer now Though lonely now Broken now No longer, can she look in the mirror Punished her It was not her fault They hate her Because her eyes Take away lives Not really her choice She deserves love She deserved mercy All you have given her Is pain forever Not her fault She was a victim Of a man Who did not keep his hands to himself The real criminal The true evil Is rape Rape...and something called... Oh the hypocrisy Punished her Stole the light from her eyes Oh how her heart must feel like stone Medusa
