stone

Sometimes I feel like i have been trained To be a stepping-stone Wondering how it happened That I allowed it so And people latch on Then go when they got their fix As I lay here..confused. Was I not with you on a throne? a piece missing from As I watch them parade around With my nose I got what was coming to me Ain't it keep happening Again and again? Boy, wouldn't it be by now I would be used to it Used to it Made a stepping stone They leave and kick but come back so sweetly again Almost can never be left alone Yet ... A stone Perfectly a stone To watch their eyes stare at mine And feel them to tell me to hush As they celebrate How dare I speak? Should I be quiet because I might get them in trouble.. Don't want them to get in trouble! Because I care for them because they don't know yet what they do... Everyone needs to learn and ... I am the stone The bible taught me so To be like Jesus: empathy and compassion for your fellow brothers and sisters I have been for years And here I am a stone A stone Perfectly But shhhhhh...
