Stone Cold World
The world is changing everyday
We've become more accepting but have also turned away
Yes, the same love is slowly becoming accepted
But other countries are in poverty, children are going hungry and neglected
Our consumers are concerned about the latest fashion
What happened to going green or being above the influence, all I see anymore are people ashing
Cigarettes and substances we said we'd never try
Yet here we are, people getting high
Inviting cancer to take us while others we know have overdosed and died
We made promises but we lied
Living each day one moment at a time
Technology has replaced traditional learning and continues to advocate in crime
Whether we accept it or not things are changing all around
Look around you and remember not to get lost, but help in getting found
Don't let the negativity of society discourage you and your hopes of tomorrow
Let it be a reminder to better yourself, to inspire you to do well for others, to emancipate sorrow
