Stone Poem
I am just a lonely stone
sharp but minuscule in size
just a fragment, a piece, a morceau
but I will be revered as a mountain;
Everest, ever lust laid in you
you never loved me
but I had sea of flames scorching
inside of me for you
You couldn't extinguish,
douse me and be afraid
I am just a river that I wept myself
wet, myself from the rain water
I am rain water, i am god's tears, i am not baptized but yet I am holy I am creation
I am a tree, overgrown, over groaning for you attempting to branch out but roots still extended searching for you
my leaves fall because I strip my body for you leaving me just flesh
want you to know that I am open for you
still a mountain, every utterances of
yours makes me crumble for you
I avalanche to please you
a fool for love, a misguided earthquake
My heart pounds and our foundation is cracking
you said you'd love me even if I thunderstormed, if the eye of my disaster was nowhere near calm
you were a liar
Shinning deceptively; you were the sun
But I know darkness and despair when I see it
who are you to tell me that I don't know the moon ?
like I don't know pain
I know about night-time and what goes bumping in it
I know of fast footsteps and snapping leaves
I am the echoing of crackling whips
I am the sparking of the embers that will eventually start the forest fire of my own self destruction
but at least i recognize that through all my essence that I am not yet complete but
i am a work of nature, a world wonder that you never deserved in the first place
I am a more than a stone you once skipped
