THE STONE YOU GAVE ME
The Stone You Gave Me
I'm sorry I wasn't good enough for you
When I asked you if you had something
To eat; you gave me a stone and said that
Will do for you .
I was not good enough for you to love
The stone you gave me to eat was solid
As it could can be , Why are you mean to me?
I am not good enough for you to feed !
Don't you see I bleed just like you ,
don't you see I am human to just like you ,
The stone that I hold in side my heart hurts me
Deep because people like you always look down on me,
Didn't you ever hear never look down on someone
Unless you are picking that one up !
I looked back just to see if you had at lest a tear in your eye's
But that was a wast of time .
I walked away ;
Crying out I'm sorry that I knock on your door
I'm sorry that I'm poor , the stone you gave me
Is cool , and hard just like your heart ,
I'm sorry about everything as I walked on by
With that lost look in my eye's , If you loved
Me you would have never cast the first stone ,
If you loved me when I ask you for food why did
You hand me a stone ,
You looked at me with the disgust in your eye's
Because I was not dress the way you thought I
should be dressed , You looked down on me because
I am poor and homeless so you gave me a stone .
I love my God Jehovah don't you see ,
He gave me food to eat and watched me as I sleep
By the stone you gave me .
