Stop

You laugh and say you're joking

as if her tears don't mean a thing

You smile as though it's funny

as she gives you back her ring

You don't care that she is dying

I'd think that you would see

At some point I'd think you'd realize

If you loved her, you'd set her free

Stop laughing for a minute

Stop doing things that make her cry

Fix the mess you know you've made

before your chances pass you by
