Stop

Stop and count to ten

Catch your breath and look again

Once you are calm only then

Can you watch me die again.

We are one you and I

Just a human trying to fly

Trying to live in these lies

While every day another dies.

Can't they see its all a game

There is no money and no fame

To be be had from these same

Old lies everyday?

I calm myself and then I see

The secret lies of reality

Truth is a distant memory

Wishing a hero would come and save me.

All day long its like I

Just sit here with my eyes

On nothing but words trying to describe

The pain I feel inside

So these words I write                                                                                    By: Nisha

Keep my dreams in sight                                                                                      12/20/13

They tell me it's alright

That darkness is only at night

So I let my poems save me

The words i write release

The anger and pain inside me

What no one else can see.
