Once is enough

Once is all it takes

To be the little girl sitting in the corner crying

Words hurt and so do the actions we make,

Others see nothing

Some will stand by

To be beat down and told, "SHUT UP, YOU'RE A WASTE OF LIFE"

Held down by words of others and defeated by the ones we love

A little girl crying because her dad won't give her his love

A daughter is the princess to which he will protect

But instead he looks at her with disgust and disresect,

To be hated by your own blood and beat down day by day

School becomes a safe house

Teachers, friends, and family ask daily what's wrong but you stay quiet

Every word enters her mind and she drowns them all out,

A little girl sits in the darkness of a corner crying

Others ask what is wrong but they hear no responce

The little girl comes to the light and all of them stare and look at her with fright

So beaten she can barely talk

The little girl reaches out a hand for help but is looked at with shock,

A father may be the king and protet his little girl

But some, oh some will abuse her until she falls!
