Stop

Stop dropping

Wishing coins in my heart—

I know I can’t help you,

It tears me apart.

Stop skipping

Stones across my trust—

Because the ripple that follows

Hurts, unjust.

Stop floating

Petals from above—

For drenched they fade,

Along with my love.
