In 2015, Kansas City remember that year as its deadliest one

In 2016, Kansas City remember that year as…(to be continued)

KC is amazing, but the crime rate, is disgracing

People’s morals are rearranging, it has me facing, fear

Imagine losing someone dear, finding out the end was near

It makes no sense, why’s it not clear? Why?!

We act fine even though inside a part just died

Because of all these homicides, almost to 109, No!

Violence is what turn a city of Red and Royal Blue to Black

We try to stay solid, but now there’s a crack

When there’s sunshine, they’ll give us rain

They live with the venom, and share it with pain

Where is right?

What about our rights?

We’re all in fright

Especially In the night

Why don’t they fight?

Where’s the light, to help them stop and start thinking?

The people who are scared to take a beating, run to a gun, only to end up cheating

Or is it suppose to be a toy? I don’t know

How taking away the lives of girls and boys, can be fun

Stop!
