Stop Complaining

Yes, but it is easy being in my situation

To be this image of perfection because

That's what society wants

That's what will get me a job

That's what will get me into college

Do I want to do this stuff?

No, I do not. But it's easy

To put on make up when you don't want to

Every Single Day.

To spend hours deciding what I want to wear

Every single day.

I want to do what I want

without the fear of being judged.

And wear what I want

without the fear of being raped.

I didn't ask for it

I ddn't ask to be judged or raped

I just want to do what is comfortable to me

Whether that's wearing as little

or as much as I want.

I don't want to tell you about my issues

without the fear of you thinking I'm dramatic

or on my period

What's the easiest is that I have to be an image of

Perfection

Sexuality

Intelligence

Sophistication

Moral Value

All at the same time

So yes it is easy being a female

I didn't ask for it

But that's what I am

And that's what I have to be
