Stop This Crime

No wars on their dime

no killing on my money

I’m getting no returns here

no pleasure from this, honey

Let the wars be fought by people

who understand the loss

let them not be fought by people

who don’t approve of cause

And just as definitely don’t make me pay

and say it’s for my own good

when I know I know you wouldn’t care

if I were dying where I stood

if you’re selling me this fighting

that I want to here your pitch

but I’ll buy it or I won’t

you’re laws don’t dictate which

There a war here at home

so why don’t you stop you stop this crime

and there’ll be education on my money

and less hunger on their dime.
