Stop It Self - Part 1

I have put myself through tons of pain

Over other people's words

These lies, the hard truths

They all just break me down

I tell myself to be strong

And ignore the hatred

It's easy for me to say

But it is so difficult to do

I still hear all of them talk

About secrets

The secrets I told to trusted people

The secrets those people decided to spill

No one tries to get to know me

Because of these twisted lies and truths

That they've heard about me

I started to doubt the sincerity of this world

All I think of are the horrible words

These words that go through everyone's mind

When they see me

Paranoia

They all know, but they're too afraid to ask

Putting up fake faces and continuing like everything's okay

How can the world be so fake?

They all talk to me like nothing's changed

But deep inside they know

I know

The talk when I'm not around

I know so well
