Stop the Lies

If our guns are at each other's heads, only our blood will shed Why let blood run for petty sake, when life could be spared- rather than staked Stop the fighting, stop the pain, don't make the blood of haters rain No more invasion, no more abuse, the interrogations have lost their use Continue this fight anymore, and we'll be headed to Hell for sure Keep it up man let us die at least we'll stop with all the lies Only making it worse for yourself, your lonely shadow cast on a shelf Left to wither shrivel and die, forever waiting our souls will lie Thanks to the fighting and to the abuse, our cries of help are of no use We scream and yell and cry and beg, the longing voices in our heads Lost souls shout for a second chance, but ne'er again will these two fates dance
