Stop Lying

You say you love us

But it’s all for show.

You only love yourself

And the new family you have.

Mothers love all their children,

Not just the babe,

And disciple each one,

Not just those between.

You, who is supposed to care,

Have never loved me,

Who was never meant to be.

So stop these lies

Because they burn worse than fire

For we know that us children,

Born with blood other than his,

Will never again feel

The warmth of a mother’s embrace.
