"Stop Playing Games"
I see seemingly healthy relationships all around me
Love birds sitting under the mistletoe
Couples hiding in the hallways
I think how I wish it was me
Until I get an insight
The secrets of their relationships
"If you really loved me.." he says
"Stop playing games" he says
"Sex means you love me" he says
Wait, I don't want this.
I want real love, what is this?
What is this lie?
I'm confused.
A healthy relationship
...
Doesn't that mean friends too?
My parents too?
Just love in general
Bonding in general
Laughs, hugs, and food.
It's not purely sexual right?
I thought this was..
Obvious?
I look at my life and see joy
Not misery.
I see my smiling mother,
Not another lame adult.
I see my friends,
Not troublemakers.
I see that there is more to a relationship,
Besides a boy and a girl.
There's happiness elsewhere.
I see me.
