STOP!THINK!

You are always there telling me not to fight,

Because its not helpful nor is it right.

I get bored and walk away,

But you yell and tell me to stay.

"STOP!THINK!" is what you said,

And then popped me upside my head.

You always see the best in me

When others are pessimistic and dont believe.

We always seem to fuss and argue;

Mainly, because I dont want to be told what to do

I have seen your struggles and obstacles all my life; 

And see you somehow manage to be a great mother, supporter, and even wife.

You are truly a great mother,

Because your morals and beliefs are like no other.

Those 2 words "STOP!THINK!" may have saved my life

When I was down on everything and contemplating with a knife.

In reality my life would not be full and complete

Without you teaching and disciplining me.

I know now that everything will be okay.

I know because, "STOP!THINK!" is what I say.
