Stories

My scars are my greatest beauty.

They are my greatest flaws,

But they are what make me flawless.

Each scar tells a success story,

Something I’ve fought

And overcome.

Club foot,

Staph infection,

Hip impingement.

The fireworks accident,

The months of blood draws,

The struggle of sophomore year.

My scars are my battles,

My scars are my victories,

My scars are my story.

And my story gives me confidence.

Confidence lets me hold my head high.

And that is my greatest beauty.

That is what makes me flawless.
