Stories

These are the roots of our existence

The food of our imagination

They feed inspiration for more to be created

They pull you in and send you to new lands

They bring you from the brink of depression

They fill you with emotions that you don’t always feel

You laugh, you cry, you get angry

You feel what the characters feel

They are inside every person

In every dream

Every notebook

They flourish in the best and the worst of times

If we did not have these,

If I did not have these,

My existence would be for not

They are what get me through the day

They are stories

Stories live within people no matter what

Civilization has thrived off of stories

We need stories to make our lives better than they are

Stories are the food of the soul and life

Stories can never be taken from you once they are in your head

That is the magick of stories

This is the one thing I could not live without

If I could not read stories,

I would not exist

I would not actually be living

They are my life blood
