Stories

What are people but storytellers?

Or even stories themselves?

Unfolding into a grand library full of tales,

From fables, to action and adventures, to short stories,

And full-length novels.

Some that took one year to write,

And others that took eighty.

Some of elegance,

And others that fail to impress anyone at all.

Impressing everyone though is not that grand of a goal.

For, we all live for our own good,

Not for the good of others.

So, why write your story to make everyone else happy?

When all you must do is live?
