Stories


The pages turn as images whirl in your head

With dragons and magic in other worlds

Staying up late in your nice warm bed

Trying not to fall asleep

“Just a few more pages then I’ll sleep” you think

Time passes by and soon you’ve finished the book

Time to choose another

What will it be

There are endless possibilities

Time to dive head first into a story

A new world, new experiences

This one with a future world

A colorless world makes everyone the same  

 

The magic of stories never fades

As children they are told before bed

As you grow you learn to read

New stories come into play

Now forming worlds of your own

These stories provide an escape from a cruel world

These stories show us realities we wish to know

These stories make us who we are

Stories are repeated over and over

They are told through centuries

These stories never fade

These stories take you through life

They change the way you think

The stories you create show the world you
