Stories Untold

The perfect crime

Of a perfect rhyme

Hiding every story we refuse to share

The hidden pain

The deepest love

Thoughts of gold

Stories untold

The hardest part

Of growing up

Is learning who you can and can't trust

When nothing works

And scars still hurt

Our thoughts unfold

With stories untold

Problems ignored

Acknowledged once more

In the layers of a beautiful poem

People feel

So people write

With words so bold

Their stories untold
