Stories of What We Used To Be

We were lost and found
In an endless night
Our feet stuck to the ground
We both noticed a tunneling light

In the moment of dancing atop of tables and cars
We move and move freely through the dark
Our figures were under a blanket of stars
And that’s when our hands felt some sort of spark

Profiles of mountains
The harsh words of wind
Glittering fountains
And reminders that stained on our skin

We were beautiful and wandering
We were traveling and pondering
We began shouting more, more, more, more
And it always hurt us to our core

Writing pages of our own just because
Chapter after chapter
This was the story of us
Until one word made us shatter

L for me
O for you
V to let me be
E for your blue

Gone and vanished
We sat apart
No chairs, cars, and tables
And all our truths had turned to fables
