The Storm

The day is so vibrant and pristine

The day seems promising, the future is straight ahead.

Before the storm, the light is always ahead.

The day is full of love and happiness

Before the storm, life was warm

Then the warmness fades & the coldness rushes in.

The storm comes rapidly and no one was prepared

The happiness whisk away with the strong cold winds

The storm seems to never end

Foundations are being destroyed

The rain strikes down & everyone sees this storm is like no other

Suddenly, it all stops.

The rain fades but the clouds still stay

The storm is gone, but the aftermath remains.

The mess is piled up and looks unfixable.

The foundations are gone, now we are left to wander

The future is bleak, and only one thing left to say.

We should have been prepared for the storm.
