The Storm

I'm not enough. Will I ever be? I'm not perfect I know this is a simple fact of life. Am I doomed to spend my life devoid of love? I am a storm. The tsumani of my emotions crashes into me. Rays of love can't penetrate my depression, the dark cloud surrounding me. My depression swirls around me like a thickening poisonous fog. Will happiness ever grace my life? I could slowly trickle in, watering my life with happiness. Hope could slowly drift down like a feather It's floating in the sky, out of arms reach, unable to be in my life. Joy could burst around me like a sudden breeze of wind But it won't. I am stuck in a cave of my own emotions Trapped, unable to escape the hurricane of horrible thoughts that spin around, tearing me up inside. The thought of it is ruining me. My heart is now shredded and broken It is useless. Am I useless?
