The Storm

The wind picked up and began to muster;

Dark clouds looked menacing above the earth.

The storm progressed fast, driven by luster,

Seeking more destruction in which to give birth.

Animals scattered in all directions

Attempting to seek sufficient shelter

And hide the fear in their complexions,

For soon everything the storm would smelter.

Raindrops began to plummet to the ground.

Lightning left blinding streaks across the sky.

Booming thunder erupted all around.

It looked as if it would never pass by.

But after all, there's an end to the strife,

And through the remains blossoms newborn life.
