The Storm

The wind roars.

The rain drenches.
The lightening cracks behind.
The thunder growls ominously all around.
Still the storm can't hide the pain in her eyes.
Once caught in her sight escape seems impossible.
The betrayal still fresh, never ending torture of Him scorches her thoughts.
Years have passed but the storm has yet to dissipate, will never, etched in her very being.
