Storm
Ashanti Blackman
Sometimes you wonder if the storm is over
But yet another gust of wind appears
The severity of the rain is overwhelming your very being
The wind is blowing from all directions causing you to not know which way to go.
You try to run from it, but its pouring everywhere
You look for a tree or covering to run from it, but it still drenches you
You realize that the only way to get through it is to face the storm and get where you need to go
The longer you try to hide beneath is the longer it takes to reach your destination
Some storms last long and others at a shorter time
You never know how long you have to endure the storm, but you must be equipped for it
The essence of patience and redemption is the key to your destiny
