Storm Bird.....

Storm Bird.....

Outside my head,

Outside my heart,

Storm bird a ‘calling,

Storm bird tis a watching so,

Storm bird all-knowing

Tropical storm approaching;

Rain is on the way,

'tis a factual guide,

This undesirable thing

Which monitors the mind,

Of deep seated feelings inside

Rumination from a tortured past,

Traumas not wanted then

Trauma unwelcomed now,

Broken, busted, clustered,

My heart has come to be

For Post Traumatic stole,

Like an unforgiving thief

Of the night,

Taking any and all

Of my warm and fuzzy feelings,

All gone a’ missing,

Left is a shell

Of the child of once before,

Nowadays a daily constant;

This struggle within,

Thoughts,

Feelings,

Flash backs,

Of so many moments,

That what went before reminder,

When that Storm Bird came a ‘calling,

When that Storm Bird came a ‘warning,

For me a personal storm is impending.
