Storm Damage

Watching the storm grow stronger,

so do my emotions.

The thunder is like all the rage I hold inside

The lightening is the beauty that lies in it.

Destructive when it finally hits,

Just like you are when you finally come back to me.

You bring beauty and terror.

When it rains, it pours.

And I can't believe that I can't not love you anymore

You're as powerful as a storm,

And your heart is far from warm.

It's cold, just like the way the rain hits my skin.

It pierces me like a pin

And if you look deep, deep within,

You'll see that I love you just like a storm
