Storm Of Thoughts [Old Poem]

The thunder cracks Violent and swift Like the executioners axe Splitting sounds to drown the noise Depressed and hopeless My sanity at a sudden poise Cries uttered upon deaf ears Forgotten and lost A voice left unheard by peers Simple Thoughts naught but torment Sickening and painful Demanding oneself to repent A little flashing light Quiet and curious A prelude to the plight
