The Storm (pt. 2)

The storm gathers

Awaited

And begins pouring

Predicted

Then rolls on

Belated

Yet stays strong

Frustrated

The water falls upon the mountains

Which feeds the valleys at their toes

And when sunlight crashes through the stormclouds

It finds flooded waste where once there stood a man
