From storm to rainbow

From storm to rainbow

From the start it was cloudy

Large clouds ahead loud sounds of thunder

I couldn’t make it out I couldn’t picture

I pushed on I went with the storm

They say light is at the end of the tunnel

When they say light, they mean happiness

A vison

Something to look forward to after destruction

I saw you

My sun

Guiding me through the dark

It was not something that came to me in a hurry

I had to ride the storm out to get to you

To be able to withstand hell

Constant darkness

Loneliness

Bare

When I saw that hope

That love I knew

The rainbow at the end was what was worth it

What I was waiting to see from the storm

As soon as I saw I knew

Knew what was meant to be

At the start of the rainbow

You were waiting for me

I am here now

I see now

Who you are

Your beauty, your potential

And it is astounding, everlasting.
