A Stormy Day

Weather rain no sun today

Cold bitter breeze no hats made out of hay.

Jackets, coats, sweaters and mitts to keep warm.

Today is going to be a storm

Don’t forget the umbrella the poncho too.

Dance in the puddle play in the rain for an hour or two.

Time to come home and enjoy the fire

A nice cup of cocoa to warm the hands.

Snuggled up like a bug, rest your eyes and dream away.

What a way to spend a stormy day.
