Stormy Seas

I don’t feel stable enough to leave-

I don’t feel stable at all.

Things went so wrong on Monday.

I was so embarrassed-

They made me go home, I had no choice in the matter.

This is horrid, I cannot do this anymore.

I know what is wrong-

These damned pills

I just want to run.

I just want to confide in him.

He’d be helpful, but there’s a thick sheet of ice he’d need to permeate in order to understand-

We don’t have time for this.

But there’s no alternative-

I had to escape- I can usually succumb at home and go on with the day.

My world is crumbling-

I am strong, I should be able to triumph-

The weakness prevails.

I am unstable, it’s rather obvious to the world, but I thought I had more solid stitches than this.

I couldn’t even give him the letter-

What’s to become of me?

Just sit still and write… that’s all I can do right now.

I’m docked at bay despite the stormy seas.

I just want to dive and allow myself to melt into foam.

I cannot walk on solid ground-

I don’t feel stable at all.
