stormy seas

for a long time

i felt like i was stuck in an ocean

one that i created, always in motion

it's endless

cold

dark

i keep waiting for the moment i drown

waiting for the current to take me down

but then i found you, and you found me

you put out your hands for me

i'm safe

warm

loved

a blinding light, leading me to shore

because you gave me a something to live for
