story behind the picture

Skin covered in scars. Hair with tight loops, rings, and tangles. Braces without a wire. No way to hide the blemishes or to make myself look smaller than what I am. Cheeks big and plump. No artistic glare just lumps and humps. Curves even where none should exist. Still no make up but no effect to give an appearance of that perfect shade of fondation. I'm not perfect. Never was but at least a little pretty. The smile of some one who has been broken and let down. "Smile to keep from crying" but that smile is only there because of the fear of going dry. Glasses with scratches and smudges from the tiny fingers of my brother. My picture is a story how about yours.

I'm a 16 year old high school senior at Timberview Highschool. I love writing or anything artistic. If I put my mind to something I make sure I finish it.
