Story of Forever

Give me five minutes and I could momentarilly tell you a story,
The story of the man who slayed the fire breathing dragon,
The story of the girl who overcame her self hatred.
Or the story of a lawyer who found his way back to his passion of painting
Give me five minutes and I could entertain you, momentarily.

Give me five hours and I could get to know the generic things about you,
Your love of ladybugs,
Your hatred for asparagus.
Or your infatuation with the color blue.
Give my five hours and I could get to know you, generically.

Give me five weeks and I could take you on friendlike adventures,
Our glow in the dark bowling games,
Our hikes around nature outside of town,
Or our movie nights full of laughter.
Give me five weeks and we could start a friendship, nonchalantly.

Give me five years and we could absolutely learn every detail of each other,
The fact that you love electronic music while I love indie music,
The fact that you love documentaries while I like love stories,
Or the fact that we enjoy one another.
Give me five years and you could learn so much about me, absolutely.

Give me a lifetime and I could give you everything.
A lifetime of smiles, laughter, and singing,
A lifetime of conflict, resolution, and love,
A lifetime of happiness, fulfillment, and serenity.
Give me a lifetime and I could give you it all without asking anything in return.
