Story of a Girl
A fight between a mom and daughter
For the choice to go and live with father
But leave behind the life she knew
And abandon both her sisters, too.
A piece of her died that day
when she looked at them through her window and waved
She made a promise to come back to them
And never leave their side again.
Months went by and tears were shed
So many thoughts bombarded her head.
Time passed so slow and a phone was all she had
Since the day she left to go live with her dad
Her mother, still bitter, would not let them visit
The girl begged every night, shattered by the distance
But her mom shrugged her off, hardly replied
But did she know that it killed her daughter inside?
