Story of Me

As I sit in class with nothing to do,

I decided to write a poem just for fun.

I am just about through,

As I want to go home and just be done.

Everywhere I look,

There is a unique soul,

A different kind of book,

Each with its own story to be told.

Where my mind will take me,

I often wonder and then I begin to shudder,

My whole body is out of whack and I just want to flee,

To go somewhere different, and stop the constant flutter.

The story of me is simple you see,

It all begins and ends,

In between I know exactly what I want to be,

I want to be that girl, not just another she.
