Story of My Life

Every person has a side,

each one for the places they reside.

Serious, playful, nerdy or dark.

It's wiser to accept instead of harp.

Let's not forget those who are broken.

They smile the brightest to hide their sobbing.

They're kindest of all so they're not so lonely.

Madness too is a side less seen.

The repetition of the world replays before their eyes,

more faces than twelve sided dice.

In the face of it all, we lie in wait.

We wait for acceptance from those we hate.

We wait for acceptance, from one or from many,

To stay by our side no matter how hard it may be.
