The Story of My Life

Just a bit of wind in my hair

Just a bit of dust in my shoes

Just a few burdens I've carried

On my way to find You

Well who I am

Is not who I'd be

Without You

Here beside me

You carry my guilt

You dry my tears

And You've been with me

For all my years

Down this path You've led me

One I would not have chose

Because it's over the mountain

The long way home

But I look back and see You

Waiting

Patient in my ignorace

Putting all my fears to rest

I look forward now

To the journey ahead

And wondering how

My story will end
