The Story Our Eyes Can Tell

As our eyes meet, a waterfall's worth of emotions rush into my body as never before Yours as well as mine The varying emotions send me into a whirlwind of thoughts In your eyes I see the hurt, the dark lowliness you've faced in the past. Lies Betrayal But what stands out the most is, Desire The lasting Desire that someone will come along giving you true love The lasting Desire that someone will wrap protecting arms around you The lasting Desire that someone will stand by your side taking on the world as if you were one In my eyes...I only hope you see true love is what I will give you I only hope you see I will wrap protecting arms around you And, that I will stand by your side taking on the world as one Give me this chance... I wouldn't rest comfortably until I give you the world... Until I can assure you know that I truly love you... Until I can assure you know that I'm here by your side and never leaving it And now as our gaze end and we walk in opposing directions the many emotions still linger about me...
