Storytime

Storytime:

Teeth clenched

Bright lights

Falling back and back into yourself

A black line left behind

Quivering in the glare

Of a crowd of unassuming stares

Words struggle to the surface

Thoughts tumble apart

A house made of cards

How to tell a story

When you have no words

You are done

Get up

Off the stage

Leave
